Join us on November 4th to celebrate two important milestones:
The 10th anniversary of the Association Disc Golf Montreal and the 5th anniversary of the Charron Island Disc Golf Course (PIC).
Save the date! Registering in advance through our website is preferred, though walk-ons will be accepted.
Our goal is to play a Vegas round in the morning and singles in the afternoon, using both the long and short tees to ensure we take full advantage of all that this five-year-old course has to offer.
Arrive by 9 am so we can pair you up for a morning Vegas-style round according to skill level (teams will be made to ensure we pair experienced with less experienced players). First round will take place at 9:30 am. We will play best disc. Odd tees will be from the longs and even tees will be from the shorts. Juniors, women and amateur teams have the option of playing nothing but the short tees. This way, open and advance players won’t be dominating the score board!
After an hour-long lunch break where we will celebrate with cake (bring your own lunch), we will kick off the afternoon round by 1:30 pm. This will be a single player round. All even tees are played from the longs and all the odd tees are played from the shorts. Juniors, women and amateur divisions will all have the option to play from the short tee pads if they so wish.
At the end, winners will be decided by cumulative score with a deep payout of discs and other prizes. Remember, this is more for fun and fundraising than competition.
Entry fee will be $25 for non-members and $20 for members, but every participant will get a premium disc on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cake and refreshments will also be served and there will be plenty of prizes!
Included will be a Nate Doss Green Mountain Championship disc personally signed by Nate Doss and Valerie Jenkins. Nate Doss, of course, won the GMC this year.
